I am a HUGE fan of giving little things very long names. Such is the case for the newest cog in the Richie/Madden clan. I, also, believe that this only applies to small dogs and hamsters. Unfortunately, no one told this to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden before they named their newborn son Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Regardless of name choice, the child is healthy.

He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.
Sparrow won’t be doing so well once he hits middle school and realizes that kids don’t take kindly to people named after birds.

Lisa Loeb, once the focus of all my love and affection, is now pregnant, People Magazine reports. The singer and her husband, Roey Hershkovitz, are ecstatic to welcome their first child.
“They’re excited to welcome their first child this winter,” said Lisa’s manager. Loeb, 41, married Hershkovitz, 41, back in January. Roey is a music production supervisor for The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Mazel tov to the happy couple.
You know, if this was ten years ago, I would be heartbroken to know that Lisa Loeb is not only married but pregnant. But now, I think I’m at peace with the news. Congrats you guys.

Kelis has given birth to a boy named Knight.
Rep, Tracey Nguyen said Kelis popped at a New York hospital on Wednesday. The bundle of joy weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
The papa is rapper, Nas who filed for divorce from Kelis in April. The babies name is, Knight and is reportedly taking his pop’s last name.
Kelis’ rep also said Kelis was in labor for a full 3 days! Ouch!

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are a popular couple in the gay community. But those admirers better not be wishing for an Ellen Jr. because the happy newlyweds don’t plan to have any children. The daytime funny woman Ellen, told AOL’s Inside/TV, “I don’t think we’re going to have kids. We have animals, and we love them. They don’t talk back, and they don’t explore their vocal chords out in public.”
Did Ellen just compare kids to animals? Of course Ellen or Portia would need another object to have children…a penis! If either of them really wanted children in their lives then they wouldn’t be gay. What do you think, they were born that way.

Well according to Perez Hilton that is. So I had to update you with the latest news between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas.
Hilton decided to post a 11:42 video on his official site, which explained the drama that went down Saturday and Sunday night at the MuchMusic awards. According to Perez, it all started when Fergie saw Perez during their music rehearsal. She approached him and asked why he’s so disrespectful to her band on his site and can he lay off. Of course Perez says he’ll try, which means no bitch.
The big drama went down last night between Hilton and Will.i. Am when he followed Perez out of an after party and commanded that Hilton respect him and stop disrespecting his band. What made Will.i.Am upset is when Perez said, “You’re gay. You’re a fuc*ing fag*ot!”
Now why would an open homosexual yell to a heterosexual man that he’s gay? It’s as if Perez used homosexuality as a put down trying to degrade Will, which lead to his manager Polo punching Perez in the face 3 times. I don’t know why Perez is shocked that he was punched after calling a man a fag*ot. I don’t condone violence but eveyone knows that men fight after being disrespected especially when it comes to their manhood.

David Letterman made a joke earlier this week that ‘Sarah Palin’s daughter got “knocked up” by New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez during their recent trip to New York.’
Sarah Palin, the Alaska governor, appeared on NBC’s “Today” show Friday, continuing a feud with David. She told the “Today” show that ‘David Letterman owes an apology to young women across the country for his joke about her daughter.’
Sarah told host Matt Lauer, “I would like to see him apologize to young women across the country for contributing to kind of that thread that is throughout our culture that makes it sound like it is OK to talk about young girls in that way, where it’s kind of OK, accepted and funny to talk about statutory rape,” she said. “It’s not cool. It’s not funny.”
Palin said that it was ‘time for people to rise up against Letterman’s form of humor.’ She thinks that these kind of jokes give girls ‘low self esteem.’
Sarah said, “No wonder young girls especially have such low self-esteem in America when we think it’s funny for a so-called comedian to get away with such a remark as he did,” she said. “I don’t think that’s acceptable.”

Gerard and the baby parade
Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, the cherubic baby daddy of emo, is now the father of a little emo princess. Mikey Way, bassist for MCR, Levar Burton announced via Twitter, (uggghh), that Bandit Lee was born yesterday night weighing in at 6 lbs., 5.6 oz and is “healthy and happy.” Her mother “Lyn Z” or Lindsey, Mindless Self Indulgence bassist, is said to be in great spirits.
I wonder if having 2 emo musician parents will cancel out Bandits chances of a similiar fate. She’ll probably grow up, change her name to Ethel and become a nun or a librarian.

The power couple got busy only three short months after their February nuptials andthe word isGisele is pregnant!
Bunchen, the highest paid supermodel in the world, has been seen visiting obstetrician in New York twice already and has told friends that the baby is due this fall. This after making several comments about wanting a big family with the footbal star.
This will be Brady’s second child. His first son, almost two-year-old John Edward Thomas, is from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

A friend of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, spilled to In Touch magazine that the hip couple will welcome a boy to their already adorable family.
They babbled, “Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and-surprise, surprise-it’s blue. Plus, she [Nicole] ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue.”
I wonder if this “friend” who spilled the beans is Samantha Ronson. According to her and Joel’s Twitter, she has been spending some quality time with the couple, getting free meals and everything!
