Ford Worker Found Dead In Bathroom Of Sterling Heights Axle Plant Thursday

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI. (THECOUNT) – The Sterling Heights Police Department confirmed a Ford Motorcar worker died Thursday morning inside the Sterling Axle Plant in Sterling Heights.

According to a Ford spokesperson, the worker was found dead in a bathroom of the facility located at, Ford Sterling Axle Plant, Mound Rd, Sterling Heights, MI.

Plant officials say the death was “not work-related,” but did not elaborate. A cause of death was not immediately provided.

Sterling Heights Police said the worker was a 24-year-old man who told co-workers he wasn’t feeling well. The man went to the bathroom and was found dead around 12:10 Thursday morning. Co-workers told police he may have fallen at some point before going to the bathroom but police have not confirmed that information. Continue reading
