Surprising, disappointing news today as we learn that Billy Mays, the lively TV spokesman who died on June 28, had cocaine in his system. Officials say that Mays had heart disease but the drug contributed to his death. I can honestly say that I did not see that coming. Even with his rambunctious, loud demeanor, you didn’t take Mays as a cocaine user. I guess I just can’t read certain people.
The initial autopsy didn’t find any amounts of drugs in his system but the toxicology reports, which were just released, revealed the sad information. Mays was 50 when he died last month.

TMZ now reports that Conrad Murray, Jackson’s live-in doctor, is in Los Angeles and preparing to speak with authorities. They stress that he is NOT a suspect.

David Carradine
Actor David Carradine of “Kill Bill” fame was found dead in his Thailand hotel room. The internet has been buzzing with speculation that the hanging death was a suicide. His reps put the rumor to rest and confirmed that the tragedy was in fact an accident.
An officer on the scene described finding Carradine’s naked body hanging in his closet with rope around his neck as well as “other body parts”. The newest speculation is that autoerotic asphyxiation may have been the culprit.
Carradine failed to show up to dinner with his crew and friends of the movie Stretch, which he was shooting at the time, on Wednesday but his comrades assumed he took a break because of his age. He was found this morning by the hotel maid, dead.
The body was transported to the hospital for an autopsy and no other new information will be available until tests are complete.

Billy Bob Thornton
TMZ reports that Amanda Brumfield, oldest daughter of Billy Bob Thornton has been charged with child neglect in the death of a 1-year-old she was babysitting.
She told cops the child died in October after falling from her playpen, but a spokesman for the Ocoee Police Department said that her story didn’t add up.
An autopsy determined the child suffered a fractured skull and a subdural hematoma due to blunt trauma. Brumfield told police that after the baby had fallen, she discovered her tongue bleeding, so Brumfield cleaned it with a paper towel. She then says she began playing with the child, feeding her bananas and fruit snacks, and said she was “happy” and playful.
Brumfield then said she laid the child on the couch next to her and fell asleep. She says was awoken sometime later by the phone and decided to take the child back to the playpen. When she lifted her, Brumfield told cops she discovered her body was limp.
According to police, the call for help didn’t come until two and a half hours after the original fall. Brumfield is Thornton’s child with his first wife, Melissa Gatlin. Billy Bob released a statement earlier today to TMZ:
