Gumby n' Art Clokey
Art Clokey, the creator of the “Gumby” doll, passed away at the age of 88.
Clokey and his wife, Ruth, invented Gumby in the early 1950s at their Covina home shortly after Art had finished film school at USC. After a successful debut on “The Howdy Doody Show,” Gumby soon became the star of its own hit television show, “The Adventures of Gumby,” the first to use clay animation on television.

I love you Gaga, but it’s true. Wonder if this song was originally written to ft. MIA?

Tameka and Usher
Recording artist and actor Usher Raymond, has just filed for divorce! He has only been married for 2 years to Tameka Foster Raymond.
Usher filed for the divorce in the Atlanta Superior Court on Friday.
The couple has 2 sons, and have been living apart for several months. Usher Raymond V is 18 months old, and Naviyd Raymond is 6 months old.
Hmmm, wonder what went wrong?

What is with artists collapsing at their own concert? Wild Thing Rapper Tone Loc collapsed earlier today during his concert at ‘Capt’n Fun Beach Club’ in Pensacola Florida. According to Loc’s manager, Bobby Bessone, ‘flight delays and heat contributed to the collapse’.
Upi.com reports more: “The 43-year-old rapper was heard complaining about the heat and humidity in Pensacola Beach moments before he crumpled on stage, slashing open his elbow as he fell, the entertainment news Web site [TMZ] said.”
Why did Loc do a concert in the morning? Was it a breakfast concert or what?

R&B artist “Ne-Yo” (what does that stand for?), wrote a recent blog stating that he is NOT gay.
