Earlier tonight, Perez Hilton tweeted that he had been assaulted by Black Eyed Pea’s front man, Will.I.Am. Yeah, I know, weird right?
A little after midnight, Hilton posted this: “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.” He later tweeted about his need for assistance, calls to his lawyers and, finally, the arrival of Toronto police.
No other word on the situation. We don’t know if Will.I.Am really did assault him, why the altercation took place or if anyone’s been arrested. This should be interesting.

Phone home Rihanna!
Talking through the press to Rihanna, her father stated to a Sunday newspaper, “all I have been seeing is the Internet reports. I am waiting on her to call me.” The sad dad said.
Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s dad also said he has recently been misquoted in the press.
I don’t know how people do things in Rihanna’s native Barbados, but around these parts, you gotta drop a dime on your papa! I bet you anything Chris Brown has called his mama!

After much speculation as to how badly (if at all) Rihanna was beaten by Chris Brown, TMZ has released this Police Photograph of a severely beaten Rihanna. As ThecounT.com writer, Carrie McCray noted; “this was right after it happened and swelling and bruising will get worse in 24 hours.”
When I saw this picture I actually felt physically ill, now I’m just mad as hell. What kind of a man could beat a woman this severely? An Animal.
Many readers of ThecounT.com have commented on our stories following the Chris Brown Assault on Rihanna. Surprisingly or not surprisingly many took a soft-line on Brown; “…she must of did sumthin 2 make him hit her…” said one of our readers, while another commented, “she [Rihanna] lied to the police. i know chris brown would not do anything like that.”
Now that this picture has been released, who in their right mind could justify this brutal beating? I’m sure it has sent a chill down the spine of even the biggest of Chris Brown supporters. God willing Rihanna will recover from her physical injuries and someday she may come to terms emotionally, however, I see no way that Chris Brown will ever recover, period. Furthermore, I predict “Attempted Murder” charges will be filed.

Badass Jay-Z is speaking out on his prodigy, Rihanna’s recent troubles. ThecounT.com reported a comment Jay-Z made in the heat of the moment, but now it seems he is taking a softer line.

“If you can’t have compassion for others … just imagine it being your sister or your mom or someone like that, then think about how you should talk about that. I just think we all should just support her,” he continued. “She’s going through a tough time. You gotta realize she’s a young girl, as well. She’s very young.” A softer, gentler Jay-Z said to reporters in Arizona.
Z was in the McCain state for his annual dinner “Two Kings”, which he is the host. It’s all part of the NBA All-Star Weekend, which, Chris Brown was suppose to attend, but canceled after his altercation with Rihanna.

MTV is rushing a TV special to air examining Chris Brown and Rihanna’s year-long relationship, leading up to the altercation.
Billed as an “in-depth look at the allegations of domestic violence that Chris Brown faces after an alleged altercation with Rihanna last weekend”, the special is being rushed to air after MTV execs demanded the special be produced.
Titled “Chris Brown & Rihanna: Love in Trouble,” MTV News talks to reporters, experts in domestic violence on a set with an in-studio audience.

The special will also dabble in to Chris Brown’s family life in an effort to show “cause” as to why the alleged beating may have occurred, focusing on past violence between Brown’s stepfather and his mother.
The final segment chronicles the night’s events leading up to the incident.
The special airs Monday, February 16, at 6 p.m.
