Brian Patrick Amburge, has been named as the South Carolina man killed in a Boiling Springs crash Sunday evening.

Troopers responded to call of a crash at Asheville Highway and Springfield Road at around 6:17 p.m. Upon arrival, police found an accident involving an automobile and a motorcycle.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said, Amburgey, 34, of Windy River Road in Boiling Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene. Continue reading

Friends & Family Mourn Death Of CA Father That Fell To Death After Hitting Deer In Bonita

Martin Lapisch has been identified as the Chula Vista man that fell to his death in the Bonita area Tuesday morning after striking a deer on California Route 125.

Lapisch, 44, was a husband and father of a 15-month-old baby, say friends. He was a German immigrant who became a U.S. citizen in 2003, friends told local media.

The CHP say they received a call of a car striking a deer just before 4:45 a.m. The vehicle reportedly then stalled on northbound CA-125 just before the transition to state Route 54. Jio said responding officers and fire crews arrived to find the car in the No. 2 lane abandoned with the dead deer in front of it. Continue reading

Elderly AL Woman Killed By Van While Sitting On Birmingham Front Porch

An elderly woman was killed while sitting at home on her porch after being struck by a van Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama.

Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a injured woman at the intersection of Pearson Avenue and 31st Street Southwest in Birmingham.

When EMS arrived they found the senior mortally injured by a vehicle that had crashed into her front stoop where she was seated.

The woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and was pronounced deceased later on.  Continue reading

Family Pictures Beloved SC Teen Who Died Following Tragic Summerville Crash Monday

Nalej Yearns has been named as the teen killed Monday night in an accident in Charleston County, South Carolina. He was 17.

Yearns, of Summerville, died at Trident Medical Center from injuries he sustained in the accident, according to the Charleston County deputy coroner.

Yearns and a passenger were in a vehicle traveling north on Lincolnville Road at 5:45 p.m. Monday when their vehicle swerved off the left side of the road, struck several trees, and overturned, according to Lance Cpl Judd Jones. Continue reading

A tragic accident has claimed the life of Manvel High School student, De’Monte Benn, who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 6, near Iowa Colony.

The tragic accident happened right before 8 a.m. Monday not far from the school. Manvel High School’s principal, Bobby Martinez confirmed the sad news that took the life of the 18-year-old.

Dusty Duet And Robert Stafford Killed By 14-Year-Old Driver In Tragic LA-74 Crash

Robert Stafford, of Gonzales, LA., and his passenger, Dusty Duet, of Prairieville, LA., were named as the two people killed following a crash involving a 14-year-old driver. The teen was operating a vehicle when it struck the couple’s Harley Davidson motorcycle in Ascension Parish early Monday morning.

According to investigators, Stafford, 42, and his passenger, Duet, 45, of Prairieville, were traveling on LA 74 just west of Airline Highway in the Gonzales area just before 2 a.m.

Sr. Tpr. Bryan Lee with LSP said the investigation up to this point shows Stafford and Duet were on a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was headed east on LA 74 when a 14-year-old driving a 2017 Nissan Versa headed west veered into the eastbound lane and hit Stafford’s motorcycle head-on.  Continue reading

5 Paramount CA High School Students Hit By Single Vehicle 4 Transported To Trauma Center

Five students at Paramount High School were hit by a car while walking near campus on Monday, authorities said.

The incident occurred after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Downey & Rosecrans SE, in Paramount, CA., at the northeast corner of the school, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Morrow and L.A. County fire officials.

Four of the victims were taken to trauma centers, L.A. County Fire Inspector Gustavo Medina said, but paramedics could not provide details on their conditions, or that of the fifth victim. Continue reading

Tragedy Strikes Gamecocks Alaina Coates Family After Father Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

Sad news breaking for Gamecocks women’s basketball player Alaina Coates and her family after their father, Gary Coates, tragically passed away in Blythewood on Tuesday. He was 55.

Coates, of Irmo, suffered from cardiac arrest while driving along Links Crossing Drive in Blythewood, SC.

An accident report said Coats’ vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

TheCount.com has obtained a booking photo of Lindsay Marie Behrendt, the Texas woman killed when her car crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10 early Saturday morning.

Police say an 18-wheeler was traveling on I-10 and approaching Pfeil Road, Schertz, TX, around 1 a.m. Saturday, when Behrendt slammed into the back of the big rig in her SUV at a high rate of speed.

Behrendt was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Continue reading

New Jersey Mourns Death Of Popular Teens in Violent Delaware Crash

Two teens from New Jersey were killed while another teen and a man were injured after a car veered off the road and struck a tree in New Castle, Delaware Saturday morning.

Police say Adrian Velazquez, 19, of Kearney, New Jersey, was driving a 2003 Toyota Avalon northbound on South Dupont Highway (US Rt. 13) shortly before 10:15 a.m. when he drifted into the right lane and then went off the east edge of the roadway and into a grassy area. The vehicle struck a small rise in the ground and went airborne before striking a large tree.

Velazquez is listed as a 2017 Rutgers Newark Soccer player in the position of defender, according to Rutgers Newark website site.

Velazquez as well as his passenger, Alfahtee Heuy, 19, of Hillside, New Jersey was also killed in the crash. Continue reading
