U2 Forced To Delay Album – Drop “Certain Songs” On Heels Of Hillary Clinton Loss

U2 frontman, Bono and the boys have announced that the release of their upcoming 14th album will be delayed over the surprise victory of Donald Trump. Bono, who told Trump before the election “You’re fired,” is now saying, along with his bandmates, that they plan to replace “certain songs” due to the fact Hillary Clinton lost the election.

“We just went, ‘Hold on a second – we’ve got to give ourselves a moment to think about this record and about how it relates to what’s going on in the world,’” U2 guitarist, The Edge, said.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, guitarist The Edge said that the band was placing the album’s release on hold and taking some “breathing space” to consider what they wanted to say following Trump’s ascension to the White House. Continue reading
