Two female LAPD cops are have been placed on leave in connection with a leaked photo of a bruised and battered Rihanna.
After Rihanna endured a beating from Chris Brown she trusted cops to photograph her mangled face. Two weeks later that very picture showed up on the TMZ website. Now two police officers are being investigated as the possible source of that leak.
Rebecca M. Reyes, a nine-year veteran of the force and rookie Blanca Lopez, are roomies and likely the ones responsible for releasing the photo, betraying not only the badge but also a fellow woman who trusted them to picture her in a very compromising position.
It’s a sad day in the world when the people coming to your apparent rescue turn out to be the bad guys, girls.
DJ AM — also known as Adam Goldstein — has passed away, according to sources within the NYPD.
The famous DJ, who survived a plane crash with rocker Travis Barker back in 2008, was found dead in his New York apartment around 5 PM today. Drug paraphernalia, including prescription drug bottles, were also found in the apartment.
TMZ is reporting that the body has not yet been removed from the apartment. The police were called after friends hadn’t seen Goldstein in several days.
He was 36.
5:49: Authorities are saying a “crack pipe” was found on the scene. Goldstein had spoken publicly about his past addictions to crack cocaine. The prescription pills were found in his kitchen.

Crazy I say! Brody Jenner and his gal, Jayde Nicole were in an altercation with “Girls Gone Wild” Joe Fransis according to our friends at TMZ.
At a club and just days after surgery, Jenner sighted Francis hitting on a lady and Jaydy thought he was harassing her. Jayde desided to throw a drink in Francis’ face. The lady happens to be Francis’ ex and a friend of Jenner and Jayde. According to Jenner, Francis was “unrelentingly.” Jenner say Francis suddenly pulled Jayde’s hair, punched her in the face, threw her to the ground and kicked her in the ribs.
Security came to the rescue dragging Francis outside, Jenner followed, punching Francis in the face. Jenner was then tased by an unknown source.
Jenner tried to get back in da club to get to the fire starter, Jayde, to no avail.
Our Friends at TMZ are reporting Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa have filed a counter claim to a lawsuit brought against them by a former maid.
The housekeeper, Maria Jimenez claims she was wrongly fired and that her privacy was violated by the video surveillance system installed at the Bryant home. Jimenez also stated that Vanessa was a tyrant, abusing her, screaming at her and even forcing her to reach in a bag of dog pooh to reclaim a tag to Vanessa’s blouse.
In the Bryant’s papers they say, Jimenez got paid $50K a year, got time off and received numerous gifts, also stating the help was even allowed to eat at the same table. The Bryants are calling the former maid’s claims “ridiculous.”
In this video message from Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, he says that he has not returned any phone calls or email messages since Jackson’s death, because he is afraid.

George Clooney, the world’s most charming man, is set to sue the pesky paparazzi over in Italy. According to Clooney, some photographers scaled the walls of his Italian mansion and, using long lens, took shots of underage girls changing. Clooney is now on a warpath to take those paps down.
George told TMZ: “We’re suing two magazines AND a photographer. I don’t know about the law in the United States but in Italy it’s illegal for photographers to climb over my wall and to take long lens pictures of a 13-year-old girl in her bedroom.”
I must say that I agree with George here. It’s really wrong to illegally penetrate a celebrity’s property for photos but it’s even worse to not have knowledge of the people you’re shooting. If the photographers would have taken their jobs seriously and figured out they were snapping photos of underage girls none of this would have happened. We’ll see what the Italian courts decide.
TMZ has been buzzing about this for days and they’re swearing by it. I guess it’ll be awhile before we know anything official but the popular website is reporting that the Los Angeles Police Department is now officially treating Michael Jackson’s death as a homicide. The website also claims that the investigation is focusing primarily on Dr. Conrad Murray and Propofol, the anesthesia used that may be the cause of Michael’s death.
No one is officially saying anything but TMZ states that its sources are deep inside the LAPD. A murder investigation is a huge deal so I’m sure the department would want to cross all their t’s and dot all their i’s before presenting a case to the public and, more importantly, the DA.
Let me just say this: Big Louie’s Pizzeria in Eureka, California is delicious. I grew up in Eureka and loved that place. Also, the owner is a true champion, giving away free pizzas to local charities and youth league teams. This publicity couldn’t have happened to a cooler guy.
Snoop Dogg, world famous rapper and weed enthusiast, was touring through Humboldt County last week. Snoop and fellow performer, Stephen Marley, stopped off at Big Louie’s and ordered — get this — $900 dollars worth of pizza, barbecue ribs and hot wings. I can’t imagine why Snoop and Stephen would be that hungry. It’s like they are under the influence of some drug that makes them super hungry. Weird, huh?
Anyway, instead of asking for payment, Big Louie’s asked for concert tickets. Snoop and Marley obliged, giving the staff tickets, shirts, hats, etc. Everybody’s a winner! Well, mostly the performers because they didn’t have to fork over cash.
Oh, Jon Gosselin. I know you have eight children and a-soon-to-be ex-wife who probably drive you batty. I know being in the limelight isn’t easy (even if you wanted it). I know you have a stressful life but you really shouldn’t smoke. It makes you look kind of grumpy and old and it’ll kill you. Then who’ll reap the rewards of your TLC show? Your new girlfriend?
That’s Jon’s new squeeze, Hailey Glassman, to his right, also puffing away. The two are definitely an item as we saw them holding hands just the other day. This photo was taken on Christian Audigier’s yacht, which explains the shirt. I think this might be the beginning of Jon Gosselin’s rebel phase, where he’ll smoke cigarettes, fight paparazzi and just try to act tough. He’ll become the Sean Penn of reality TV.
As the memorial winds down, I thought it would be nice to show photos from outside the event. TMZ took these pictures earlier this morning as crowds waited outside to come into the Staples Center. You can get a decent idea of how many people were there.
