The coroner just made Philip Seymour Hoffman’s cause of death official and it
was a killer combination of heroin, cocaine, and several other drugs.
The medical examiner listed the cause of death as “acute mixed drug intoxication.”
The drugs in the actor’s system at the time of his death were heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines (anti-anxiety) and amphetamines (uppers like Adderall).
Speedballing is a deadly mixture of heroin and cocaine, the same concoction that killed Chris Farley, River Phoenix, and John Belushi.…
Philip Seymour Hoffman had a dying wish.. “Keep my kids FAR away from Hollywood,” this according to a newly discovered will penned by the late actor.
TMZ reports that they obtained a copy of Hoffman’s will which was composed in 2004, and according to the document, Hoffman requested that his son Cooper, (at the time an only child,) be raised anywhere but Los Angeles, a.k.a., Hollywood.
If NYC turned out to be impossible, Hoffman asked for his son to be raised in Chicago or San Francisco. And if that didn’t work out either, Hoffman wanted his son to visit these cities at least TWICE per year … for cultural purposes. Continue reading
