The new biography by David Garrow titled “Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama,” cites in a chapter about young Obama’s two years at Occidental College, where he conducted a close relationship with an openly gay assistant professor named Lawrence Goldyn.
Garrow also wrote a Martin Luther King Jr. biography and he frequently contributes to the New York Times and Washington Post. The book is slated for released May 9, 2017. Continue reading
