Jon Gosselin is moving far too fast nowadays. Just this past Tuesday, he was pulled over for driving 78 mph. This is not legal. As a result, he has been issued a ticket for $165.50. That’s just drops in the bucket compared to all the cash he is getting after leaving his wife and 600 kids, a trajedy that he has effortlessly parlayed into a series of US Magazine cover stories. This just bought him another 3 seconds of relevance.

Mild drama this weekend as an ambulance was called to the Gosselin house out in Pennsylvania. Did Jon and Kate Gosselin get into a violent screaming match? No, nothing that explosive. Jon’s grandmother had a fall and EMTs were brought to the house to take care of her. Kind of anticlimactic, isn’t it?
Granny Gosselin was taken to a hospital. Reports say she’s now fine and resting comfortably.
Thank God for Twitter, where Jon gave us this update: “Just to clear up any faulty reports: my grandmother did in fact fall in my driveway but she’ll [be] fine. Thank you for all of the concerned calls.”
Wait, people were actually calling the house? Like, total strangers were calling? Weird.
The rest of the weekend seemed uneventful for the Gosselins. Jon spent “Family Day” with the kids and played outside in the pool.

Jon Gosselin, the happy father of eight, has joined the Twitter revolution. His username is @jongosselin1 and, since his account is new, he mostly tweets about going to Vegas. Expect future tweets about his children and nagging ex-wife. Maybe we’ll get a lot of sadface emoticons if the divorce doesn’t go well.
His latest tweet: “On the plane, can’t wait to see the kids!!! The sugar factory goodies are on the way, they’ll flip when they see it all.”
We now have literally 24 hour access to the life of Jon Gosselin. Big fight with Kate? We’ll hear about it through Twitter. Leaving the TLC show for greener pastures? We’ll see his tweet before the news breaks. This is a win-win for celebrity gossip fans. Now we never have to be without Jon Gosselin’s pearls of wisdom.
In other Jon Gosselin news, Radar Online is reporting that Jon’s gal pal Hailey Glassman didn’t accompany Jon on his trip to Vegas. It’s not a sign of relationship troubles but rather a promise Jon made to take his mother. Aww.

Jon Gosselin is slamming reports that say he wants off Jon & Kate Plus 8. The reality TV star says the sources are mis-informed.
Speaking to People Magazine, Jon said: “I never said that. A fan asked me, ‘Don’t you sometimes wish you could go back to a 9-to-5 job?’ [And my reply was,] ‘Yeah, because this is 24/7 and 9-to-5ers punch in and punch out and you have no responsibilities.’ “
“Here,” he continued, “You have to watch what you say so it doesn’t contradict something else.”
He later went on to explain that, even in his own house, he’s constantly being photographed and watched. He also said that the kids, though sometimes annoyed at the filming, don’t want it to end yet.
Everyone deserves a break now and again but I still really think that Jon is angling to get off the show sooner rather than later. At the same time, can you blame him? The guy’s life is a circus. Maybe he can quit by pushing the boundaries of what TLC can take. He can just waltz into his living room naked or only talk in rhyme for days on end. Then the fed-up network would get pissed and cancel the show! Gosh, I’m a genius.

Man, divorce has never been so good! America’s favorite father, Jon Gosselin, is moving forward with his new reality show titled Divorced Dads Club. With him in the development process is father of the year candidate Michael Lohan and Lindsay Lohan’s manager. In fact, TMZ has a shot of all the boys celebrating what seems like a development deal. Cha-chinge!
We have no idea what Divorced Dads Club will be about (probably something regarding fathers who are, I don’t know, divorced) but we do know that Jon might not be a big part of it at first. You see, he’s under contract with TLC and is prohibited from appearing on other shows. He might be able to get some sort of producer’s credit but that’s likely it for the time being. This might mean that Jon is looking to get out of Jon & Kate Plus 8, which has been the rumor for some time.

Jon Gosselin is currently pictured in almost every rag mag that exists! He is often photographed with new women other than his wife Kate, who he has actually filed for divorce with. He even hangs out with Ed Hardy’s Christian Audigier now. How does he do it?

Jon is doing a good job, because he just got booked for a celebrity hosting gig at Vegas’ “Wet Republic”. Wet Republic is a hip and trendy outdoor, poolside club at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. The party is going to be on August 29. There you can meet him in person, and all your dreams will then come true!

Jon & Kate Plus Significant Ratings Drop
As if you haven’t heard, Jon & Kate Plus 8 returned to TLC last night after a month’s hiatus. Good news for the network right? Eh, not so much. While the show is still a cultural touchstone and dominates most tabloid mags, it no longer dominates in the ratings.
Last night’s back-to-back episodes had about 4 million viewers. The episode aired before the long break? About 10 million viewers. Ouch.
While 4 million viewers isn’t shabby, it certainly isn’t good news to TLC, which was probably counting on several more seasons of the series. With their personal problems being paramount in their lives, I can imagine that Jon and Kate Gosselin (especially Jon, who has gone on record saying how much he dislikes being filmed) are weighing their options. Meanwhile, TLC might want to invest more attention in The Little Couple. Have you seen that show, by the way? It’s awesome.

What the heck is going on here?
Just Jared has posted some more pictures of new friends Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan hanging out together in the Hamptons. Apparently, Michael is family friends with Jon’s new lady love, Kate Major, and offered the couple residency at his estate. Looks like they’re getting along famously. In fact, Lindsay’s dad gave his two cents on the the future of TLC’S stars, saying Jon wants to remain friends with his soon-to-be ex, Kate Gosselin.
“They had eight kids and he would like to work things out the right way and just be friends,” Michael told People magazine. As long as Jon doesn’t take any relationship advice from Michael, I think he’ll be fine.
This might be the weirdest celebrity friendship in history. I really hope something memorable comes from this pairing, like a television show or ill-fated album.

Kate and the girls
Kate Gosselin and two of her eight children (Mady and Cara) went to go see the Jonas Brothers last night at the Philadelphia Wachovia Center. Wow, The Jonas Brothers and Kate Gosselin in the same vicinity? Pop culture overload!
The girls brought a friend along and spent the night rocking out to the sweet tunes of the JoBros. It’s good to see them living a rather simple life while Jon bounces from one girl to the next.
