    Seinfeld Cast – Reunited!

     Seinfeld Cast Reunited!

I’m trying to curb my enthusiasm, really!  I can’t!  This is too exciting!

Here’s the cast of Seinfeld, back together again for their “reunion” on Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.  This season of the HBO hit will revolve around Larry getting the old gang back together for a reunion episode.  Jerry Seinfeld says that this will be the closest thing we ever have to an actual Seinfeld reunion episode.

    Entertainment Weekly Subscriptions

“As far as I’m concerned, we did do it, and in a better way than I ever imagined. This exceeded my expectations, so there’s no chance I would revisit it now,” the comedy legend told Entertainment Weekly.

What’s the story in the season?  Why do all the cast members decide to unite for one episode?  Well, Mr. David summed it up pretty well. Larry attempts to get [his estranged wife] Cheryl back, and the Seinfeld reunion figures prominently in that.” Fascinating.

Curb Your Enthusiasm’s new season starts this September on HBO.  Five of the ten episodes will revolve around the reunion.  I’m already setting my DVR.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Reunites Seinfeld Cast

Larry David has managed to do the nearly impossible, reunite the entire primary cast of “Seinfeld” for the HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

It has been eleven years since Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards will have appeared on screen together.

Apparently the “Curb” storyline is about the “Seinfeld” cast reuniting in a sort of show within a show, however, David said the cast actually reuniting for any more “Seinfeld” episodes is unlikely.

Julianne Moore No More – Steps Down Playing Hillary Clinton

Julianne Moore No More Steps Down Playing Hillary Clinton

We reported back in March about the planned HBO movie, “The Special Relationship.” We knew then Dennis Quaid would play President Clinton. Michael Sheen, already played Blair in “The Queen” and in a British television movie called “The Deal,” and he will do the same in this flick. Now it is being reported that Hillary Clinton, Played by Julianne Moore, is no more!  Moore is stepping down from the roll and (drum roll please) Hope Davis is moving in!

Officially Moore is said to have a conflict with “booking” and simply can’t be in two places at one time, other theories are Moore, after getting a feel for the “tone” of the film said, “I quit!” not entirely agreeing with the way movie-makers wanted Clinton portrayed.

Seems like Hope has no problem acting out the angle HBO wants on Clinton.

Ari Gold, a.k.a. Jeremy Piven, has opened up to Men’s Fitness magazine about yoga, his mercury poisoning incident and, of course, being a fit male.

On yoga: “I loved the way it made me feel. It opens you out and you get great twang. It’s incredible. Ari’s got some quick-twitch anger, and to do that repeatedly you have to come from a place of stillness.  It´s so funny because I´m naturally kind of calm.”

On the mercury poisoning:  “I think it was nature´s way of saying you’ve got to stop.  The feeling I can equate it with is when you’ve slept for an hour but just continue to keep going.”

He says he hasn’t tried fish in nine months because of the diagnosis so we know he’s being careful. And while I made fun of Piven after the diagnosis and subsequent quitting of his play, I’m fairly impressed by this photo.  Piven’s looking tough.

dmatteo Sopranos star Drea de Matteo is engaged

These 2 crazy lovebirds, Drea de Matteo (Sopranos) and her rocker boyfriend Shooter Jennings, are engaged to be married. Us Weekly reports that Jennings proposed to  Matteo during his show in Utica, New York. The couple already have a child, Alabama Gypsyrose, who was born in November of 2007. I’d like to go on record to say that this family has the coolest names of all time. Mega inventive and classic. I wish my parents had been a wee more creative but that’s what I get for being the daughter of a couple of french librarians. Congrats to the newly engaged couple!
