**UPDATE** A federal judge has allowed Allgood Ent. to go forward with this $40MIL civil action against Michael, manager and concert promoter.

MJ was get on your boots ready to perform in London this June, however, a concert promoter is crying foul. It seems New Jersey-based ‘AllGood Entertainment Inc.’ has the legal rights in the form of a contract saying the “King of Pop” is bound to them and until 2010.
Court papers say that Jackson is not to give a concert until he performs in Texas, at Texas Stadium in Irving, with his brothers and his sister, Janet, in a family reunion show that was slated to go off in July, 2010.
This puts Jackson’s 50 concerts with AEG in London’s 02 Arena in serious jeopardy, unless someone from the Jackson camp contacts AllGood and in a hurry; any contact up until now has been ignored.
Jackson was going to make $30Mil for the concert which has left the Texas promoters AllGood scratching their collective heads, “Thirty million for one show is unheard of, that’s why we’re so frustrated,” AllGood said. “Frank DeLeo is standing in our way. AEG has been constantly frustrating our ability to get this show.”
Aerosmith makes it official “The tour has been canceled.” The sad news comes one week after front man Steven Tyler was injured when he fell off the stage.
Guitarist, Joe Perry stated, “Words can’t express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour, “I would like to thank our loyal fans for sticking by us through thick and thin and all the good energy they are sending our way.”
The band had been on tour since June 10th with special guest, ZZ Top.
If you have tickets you can get a full refund at the point of purchase.
Planned for sometime in September, a large concert is being set up to honor Michael Jackson in Vienna.
The promoter said to expect a “high-profile lineup of international stars.” And their website stated: “For one incredible night Michael Jackson’s unforgettable music will be brought to life again,” it said. “Some of the world’s leading artists will perform Michael’s greatest hits live in Vienna in front of one of the most fascinating historical sites in Europe and celebrate the life of the ‘King of Pop.’”
Vienna papers are reporting the concert may include performances from the likes of U2, Madonna, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston.
Many are scratching their head as to the location of the concert as London was thought to be a natural choice, the same place Michael was set to do 50 dates, before his death on July 25th, but Jermaine Jackson said Vienna was a perfect place because as he put it, “he [Michael] loved castles. And we’re going to have this huge celebration in front of a castle.”
I would love to attend, however, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it all the way to the mini-sausage capital of the world.
Live Nation, the organizers of Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour sighted “Logistics” as the reason for canceling a concert in, Slovenian capital Ljubljana, however, media in that region said it was poor ticket sales.
Slovenia’s media is reporting only 7000 of over 60,000 tickets up for grabs were actually sold.
About.com says about Ljubljana, “Slovenia’s capital city has one of the least ethnically diverse populations of all capital cities in Europe, so you’re sure to get the authentic Slovenian experience here.” Could the lack of diversity be the reason there is no demand for the very diverse Madonna?
UPDATE: As Brandon of ThecounT.com reported, It was on Thursday a crane collapse, killing, 53 year-old Charles Criscenzo and and injuring 35 others. Now another man dies from those injuries. Charles Prow, 23.
The accident occurred while over 50 people were employed to set up Madonna’s concert staging in France. 4 cranes are needed to simultaneously lift the roof. This time the roof became unstable, knocking over a crane, the entire roof came tumbling down inside the 60,000 seat Velodrome in France.
A total of 8 people are still seriously injured, 30 plus suffering lesser injuries and shock.
Madonna, 50, was performing a show in Udine, Italy, when she caught wind of the accident, making the following on-stage speech, “Before I continue the show, I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and pay tribute to two people who lost their lives today,” she told fans, holding back tears. “I don’t know if you have heard. When they were building my show in Marseilles where we’re playing next — we don’t know why, but one of the cranes fell, a piece of the stage fell down. Two men lost their lives. It’s a great tragedy to me. … I feel so devastated to be in any way associated with anyone’s suffering. … Let’s all just take a moment to say a prayer for Charles Criscenzo and for Charlie Prow, two men who lost their lives today. Our hearts go out to their families, to their loved ones. Please, let’s all just take a moment to appreciate life in general. Let’s give it up for the two Charlies!”
Britney Spears sat down with Britain’s More! magazine, to discuss how she’s getting her life back together and feeling normal again. She said:
“I feel positive, I feel much happier, and things are looking good again. I’m learning to relax more and take everything in my stride, and to not place so much pressure on myself. I’m learning to take better care of myself and not get stress or down about things for nothing. I’m taking my time these days and not letting myself feel any pressure other than to just feel happy and to work on my music.”
I’m glad Britney is starting to feel like a normal, sane person again; but she’s still delusional and her life won’t be completely together until she realizes that lipsynching is not a concert make.
It was to be Amy’s first time on stage this year but the gods would not have it. Suddenly the St. Lucia rain pelted the stage, then the high winds kicked up and tossed heavy lighting rigs around like matchsticks and directly in to the sound system. Amy was on stage frightened, looking like it was judgment day, and that’s when concert officials stepped in and ended the madness, canceling the rest of the concert.
The concert was slated as a “Thank you” from Amy to repay people in St. Lucia for their hospitality, as she has been staying on the island for several months, but, obviously the music gods simply wanted a “Thank you, Drive Thru.” and a “Girl don’t go away mad, girl just go away.”
Britney Spears’ number one fansite, Breatheheavy.com, has had quite the controversy involving Britney’s team disapproving ‘Britney’ material on Breatheheavy.com this year. Jamie Spears, Britney’s Dad, was the ringleader, who wrote a ‘not so friendly’ personal email to the fansite’s webmaster and creator; Jordan Miller. Britney’s Dad and ‘conservator’ Jamie Spears, did not approve of what Jordan wrote on Breatheheavy.com about ‘Jamie being an over controlling and money hungry conservator.’ Jamie did not like or approve the photo of Britney wearing handcuffs on the front page in the headline of Breatheheavy.com. Some say Jamie just didn’t like the negativity about him on a #1 Britney fansite. Some lastly say that Jamie doesn’t like that Breatheheavy.com takes away readers, fans and merchandise from the Spears owned website; BritneySpears.com
Well, a couple weeks ago, this story about Jamie vs. Jordan Miller caught fire all the way to a story on E! News. Jordan got major press of course. Then soon after, we heard that he was invited as a guest to the Britney show in Vegas. Did Britney really tell her Dad to say ‘hi’ to Jordan? Jordan sat front row as you can see from his video and photos from the concert. We were there at her Vegas show too! (See our Britney Vegas show pics here)
If you go to Breatheheavy.com, you will see that Britney’s handcuff picture is back up on the front page. Why? Did Jordan buy the rights to the photo? Did Britney or Britney’s team give the ‘A-OK’ to let Jordan use the handcuff photo again? Jordan wouldn’t rebel against the person he worships would he!? Jordan had to have gained the right to use the Britney handcuff picture.
Lady GaGa had to make-up a gig in Philly, so what did the self-titled “Lady” do to reward fans for putting them through all the waiting? She did NOT show them her “Poker Face” She showed them her vagina!! For those who can’t tell, GaGa is sitting at a piano covered in mirrors and she is not wearing panties… Honestly, I think GaGa has gone goofy.
