MJs luxury furniture that was destined to fill the home he would occupy durning his “This Is It” concert stint is set to be auctioned off in Las Vegas. The collection includes armchairs with mother of pearl and platinum-gold leaf and two gold embroidery double-headed eagles.
All in all, 22 pieces of Michael’s pre-order furniture will be available for bidding. Other MJ items to be offered are a signed “Beat It” jacket, another white Swarovski Crystal Glove and signed “Bad” Lyrics.
The auction will also offer other items such as, a guitar used by Jimi Hendrix, Britney Spears stage costumes and a tassel of Elvis Presley’s hair.
It can all be your if you attend the “Music Icons” auction at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on June 25.
LaToya Jackson, well-known for her deep sense of spirituality and reverence for the deceased, commented on how her brother Michael Jackson looked at his funeral. Usmagazine.com reported, “His hair was done beautifully,” La Toya, 53, adds. “His makeup was done beautifully.”
She could’ve at least pulled out a word other than “beautiful” from her grab bag of superficial adjectives. The guy put a lot of effort into his final “look,” so she could’ve commemorated his fashion sense a little more thoroughly with such words as “chicly,” “fiercely” or “wildly.” For instance, she could’ve said, “His hair was done perfectly. He looked really fierce where he lay. His Sergeant Pepper’s jacket matched well with the gold-interior of the coffin.”
Our good friends at TMZ are reporting plans for Michael’s kids to attend the private Buckley School have been scrapped. The children will continue to be home schooled by the same tutors that have been assigned by Michael himself.
The kid’s home schooling that will take place at their new home in Encino, will have the same environment of a regular school complete with a freshly built schoolyard for recess and PE. Field trips will also be planned to give the kids the total school experience.
No word on if a bully will be hired to harass the kids, after all I had one in school, something tell me the family would stop short of making the schooling completely real.
What percentile of people in this country will be able to attend Jermaine Jackson’s big brouhaha of a Michael Jackson tribute in Vienna? I would guess that number is very small. So then why is Jermaine going though with this concert that is billed as a concert to honor his brother Michael?
It is reported no other Jackson family members will be either participating or as much as attending the show.
Sources close to the family say other Jackson family members are very angry with “Jermaine doing what’s right for Jermaine.” Katherine publicly endorsed the planned tribute but even that has a wrinkle as sources say Jermaine basically demanded his mother do so to help Jermaine bolster support for the show in the press.
All the family drama aside, why Vienna? What is Michael’s connection to Vienna? As far as I know there is no Michael connection, except, this concert Michael’s older brother has planned.
Maybe the whole deal should be renamed the “Jermaine Jackson extravaganza honoring Michael that has no rhyme or reason geographic speaking” Concert! So maybe that title is a little long, but so are the lengths Jermaine will go to make a buck off Michael.

You may have seen it on the news this week, moving trucks at Michael’s Holmby Hills mansion being loaded with Michaels’ belongings, well now we know where they were headed. It only stands to reason, if La Toya received some of Michael’s belonging that other members of the Jackson family did as well.
No word yet on exactly what was in the boxes but I know as a fact they came directly from Michael’s estate, and get this, the boxes were delivered in limousines! Leave it to Michael to ride in style if after his passing.
It’s a rap; Michael Jackson is finally laid to rest. I am prepared to let it go and have avoided covering the funeral on these pages because I felt it was the family’s desire to say goodbye to Michael with as much privacy as possible, while still recognizing the great interest the world had for the final curtain call for the King of Pop.
I decided to write this footnote after seeing this picture of Michael’s kids asleep in a vehicle used to carry them to several of the functions that day.
To me, this picture puts a cap on the months of emotion we have all experienced since Michael’s passing.
Goodbye Michael, I did all I could to honor you while you made your great transition to the other side, to the light. Now the time has come for all of us, the living, to try and pick up the pieces and move on. It won’t be easy, however, we will always have your music to continue to be the soundtrack of our lives.
It was a monumental moment, converging at Michael Jackson’s newly installed Star at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, on the very day Michael was laid to rest at Forest Lawn, California, all for the purpose of cutting off the golden wristband. Everything thing seemed perfect, that is until, we found that the Star was missing, it had been removed.
As it turns out, the star, which is Brenden Theater’s recreation of a Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star, had now been excavated for being made improperly, too small. And now a hole in the tile floor is all that remains until it can be remade. The Star was installed on Michael’s birthday to much hoopla and only days prior to last night’s wristband cutting ceremony.
Our mission was clear, the golden wristband still had to come off.
Maybe it was a fitting ending, Michael being put to rest in Glendale, Ca., me in Las Vegas, the golden wristband finally removed- and Michael, or at least the representation of Michael- gone, missing…
It’s been 58 days since a Staples Center employee locked the golden wristband on ThecounT’s wrist- granting him entrance to the Michael Jackson Memorial Service. Today Michael is finally getting laid to rest, and ThecounT is finally cutting off his golden wristband! It’s tattered, it’s torn and it’s now more silver than gold, however, the wristband held up amazingly well!
No doubt an emotional moment for ThecounT but he won’t go it alone! Crystal Marven will be joining him! A close friend of Michael and a Joe Jackson recording artist, Crystal is the prefect person to do a little hand holding and ThecounT’s first choice to finally cut the cord!

The official cause of death of Michael Jackson has been established as acute Propofol intoxication and Benzodiazepine effect contributing to his death. “The drugs Propofol and Lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death,” a statement from the office said. Other drugs detected were Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrinem.
The final coroner’s report will remain on security hold at the request of the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney until further notice.
“Someone owes Doctor Conrad Murray a huge apology, I guess” said Jimmy Kimmel, the witty late night TV host, as he played clips from a now famous Video tape showing Michael Jackson alive and jumping out of the Coroner’s van. Kimmel shows more of the tape then most of us have seen up to this point, which includes some interesting people also exiting the vehicle. I won’t give too much away. Worth a watch!
