Modonna finished one of two final installments of her world “Sticky and Sweet” tour in Tel Aviv, Isreal along with 50,000 fans who had waited 16 years for her return.
“I shouldn’t have stayed so long away,” she told the crowd. “Every time I come here, I get so supercharged with energy,” she said. “I truly believe that Israel is the energy center of the world. And I also believe that if we can all live together in harmony in this place, then we can live in peace all over the world.”
Madonna, 51, has made a real connection with her audiences and with Israel in general, practicing Kabbalah, taking on a Hebrew name of Ester and visiting the Western Wall.

In a far off place…Warsaw, Poland, our beloved American Pop star Madonna is not wanted there. Warsaw claims that Madonna’s past performances are overly controversial in the ‘religion’ department. Madonna has a track record of doing things a little bit differently like kissing an actor playing Jesus in one of her videos and staging a crucifixion scene in her last world tour. In some other countries, these kind of antics are taken TOO seriously, just like Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Borat” and “Bruno” movies. Some uptight countries simply just can’t handle our entertainment.
This year, Madonna has planned a visit once again to the town that utterly adores her! Not really. Reuters reports that “Madonna has upset some believers in devoutly Roman Catholic Poland by timing her Polish debut concert [in Warsaw] to coincide with the day when Christians mark the Virgin Mary’s ascension to heaven.”
Okay, so the town ‘Warsaw’ doesn’t want her, but the town “Rumin” does! As a matter of fact, people are praying for Madonna to stop there for her tour!

In Warsaw, Poland, they have not forgiven Singer, Madonna for what some call “religious mockery.” The Madonna concert planned for concert in Warsaw has been met with sharp criticism from Polish nationalists, who refer to her as a “crypto-Satanist.”
Madonna should not be surprised by the objection to her performance as the devout Roman Catholics never really got over Madonna’s stage and video antics, some of which take religious ideas and symbols head-on, not to mention the name “Madonna” is AKA the Virgin Mary.
In one Madonna video she is making out with Jesus and her last tour featured a staging of a crucifix.
Earlier in the month polish officials asked Madonna to move the date of her Sticky and Sweet concert as it coincided with a historic date in which Poland remembers their victory of invading Soviet forces back in the 1920’s.
No changes have yet been announced by Madonna of her Warsaw concert.

Live Nation, the organizers of Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour sighted “Logistics” as the reason for canceling a concert in, Slovenian capital Ljubljana, however, media in that region said it was poor ticket sales.
Slovenia’s media is reporting only 7000 of over 60,000 tickets up for grabs were actually sold.
About.com says about Ljubljana, “Slovenia’s capital city has one of the least ethnically diverse populations of all capital cities in Europe, so you’re sure to get the authentic Slovenian experience here.” Could the lack of diversity be the reason there is no demand for the very diverse Madonna?

UPDATE: As Brandon of ThecounT.com reported, It was on Thursday a crane collapse, killing, 53 year-old Charles Criscenzo and and injuring 35 others. Now another man dies from those injuries. Charles Prow, 23.
The accident occurred while over 50 people were employed to set up Madonna’s concert staging in France. 4 cranes are needed to simultaneously lift the roof. This time the roof became unstable, knocking over a crane, the entire roof came tumbling down inside the 60,000 seat Velodrome in France.
A total of 8 people are still seriously injured, 30 plus suffering lesser injuries and shock.
Madonna, 50, was performing a show in Udine, Italy, when she caught wind of the accident, making the following on-stage speech, “Before I continue the show, I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and pay tribute to two people who lost their lives today,” she told fans, holding back tears. “I don’t know if you have heard. When they were building my show in Marseilles where we’re playing next — we don’t know why, but one of the cranes fell, a piece of the stage fell down. Two men lost their lives. It’s a great tragedy to me. … I feel so devastated to be in any way associated with anyone’s suffering. … Let’s all just take a moment to say a prayer for Charles Criscenzo and for Charlie Prow, two men who lost their lives today. Our hearts go out to their families, to their loved ones. Please, let’s all just take a moment to appreciate life in general. Let’s give it up for the two Charlies!”

Two people were killed yesterday while constructing the stage for Madonna’s stage show in France. Authorities say that a crane fell after the partially built roof collapsed, killing one person at the scene. A second man died in the hospital after being in intensive care. Reports say that at least eight other crew members were seriously injured in the accident and 30 more slightly injured.
Madonna released a statement saying she was “devastated”. She also added “my prayers go out to those who were injured and their families, along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”
Authorities say that the roof was being constructed by cranes when it became unstable and collapsed. Many people were able to escape and therefore avoided injury. The now canceled concert was going to be held at Velodrome stadium in Marseilles.
At a concert in Italy last night, Madonna paid tribute to those killed. She stopped her perform to say to the crowd “I ask you for a moment to stop and think of the people who have lost their lives, we need to appreciate life, the people we love and our families.”
