Help Save Sons of Anarchy From Being Cancelled on DirectTV

Kurt Sutter Katey Sagal

Kurt Sutter, the Creator of the FX hit show Sons of Anarchy is very crazyinvolved in his show, so much that he will interrupt his own SOA broadcast with video of himself saying what he wants…he did this multiple times on last night’s episode!

As we reported a few days ago, FX may not be apart of the new DirectTV channels, starting November 1, 2011. This means you will miss the last 5 SOA episodes, plus any other show you may watch on FX such as “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Sutter, who we love (seriously- look at my pics below!), has returned to Twitter since this chaos has begun- it took a freakin’ mountain to move! He’s pissed, and we love his passion! Let’s support our friends.

Photos: Rare Starfish Found on PCB Florida Shore

Rare Starfish PCB Florida

My mother and I were taking a dip into the Panama City Beach ocean, when we spotted something in the ocean, washing up near the shoreline. We took a closer look and realized it was a creature of some sort! So we got a plastic cup, and scooped the lifeless creature up to see what it was. We established that it was a black and white spotted starfish that had died… so we thought…

Photos: Lisa Mason Lee’s Florida Family Vacation

My family vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida has been fun and relaxing. My parents and I are doing as little as possible! Our highlights of the day are laying by the pool and beach, working out and eating fresh seafood for dinner! We hit the mall occasionally for yogurt and to play at the funpark.

Last night we got to meet up with my Cousin Michael and his family in Destin, FL. We found out that the fam was staying just a town over from us, so we made plans for dinner. Michael cooked us a homemade dinner- Seafood Gumbo, a side of fresh grilled Jumbo Shrimp, an assorted Olive Salad and real Key Lime Pie for dessert! We were quite surprised by his cooking skills!

Michael’s wife Liliana took some photos with her amazing Nikon camera. I don’t know what the model or make is, but every photo looks studio quality. Thanks Lili! Here our some photos from our trip so far:

How To Rise Up & Reject Airport X-Ray Body Scanners

Today, mega-popular news site DrudgeReport.com is headlining the rise and revolt against airport x-ray body scanners. When it’s a headline on Matt Drudge’s site, then you know it’s a hot topic around the world that needs tending to…

X-ray scanner

This year in 2010, the uncomfortable x-ray scanners were born, and they were put in many major airports in the U.S. If you plan on coming into the U.S., you are ‘required’ to go through this unfriendly, radiation-giving box. If you already are in the U.S. and say you want to fly from Indiana to Los Angeles, then you will also ‘have’ to go through the scanner. Although not all major airports have them yet, the Feds have been pushing to get the scanners in every major airport in the U.S. If the Feds agenda doesn’t change, then there will be no way out of getting out of this radiation-giving scanner that takes pictures of your naked body.

Lady Gaga Meets Yoko Ono at Concert in Downtown Los Angeles

Lady Gaga, her wig and Yoko Ono posed together backstage at the “We Are Plastic Ono Band” concert which was at the Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles last night. That’s where I filmed my scene in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie! Hooray, but hooray for those two meeting? Do you think they exchanged digits? Is this good, bad or do you care?

Transformers 3 Stunt Accident Involving Indiana Extra-Not Uncommon!

I feel like this girl is me, and all of my other young aspiring actor friends who have been an extra on a big Hollywood movie. I feel like we’ve been hospitalized, like our skulls are fractured from this accident…this accident is a bad dream come true…

Gabriella Cedillo

Me and my actor friends-we all have a common bond. We all have the dream of becoming a working actor, and we will work as a bottom-of-the-barrel extra on a movie or show, just hoping to get a break…at least this used to be me, when I didn’t know what I was getting myself into just like Gabriella Cedillo did last night, at a night shoot on the set of Transformers 3 in Northwest Indiana next to Chicago, that went horribly wrong. [VIDEO]

Cedillo is an aspiring actress, and last night she was working as a “atmosphere car driver extra” on Transformers 3, and I’m sure she was working on T3 in hopes of getting discovered. The movie shoot was in my home state in Indiana, and the film schedule was a night full of car crashes and big stunts. If you’ve seen Transformers 1 or/and 2, then you know all about the major destruction that takes place in these movies! It is not a safe environment.

This young, innocent, aspiring actress got called in to be an extra last night, and she NEVER should have been there! Only professional stunt people should have been there! Extras DO NOT get paid enough to risk their life one single bit! Sure enough, T3 called in some young willing extras to play everyday “drivers” near the stunted car crashes. I am so sad and mad about this. Please read my “extra” experience below after you read the exclusive news report from her injury on the T3 set last night.

The news report said this is what happened to Cedillo last night while working on the Transformers 3 set:

Cedillo is an aspiring actress from Little Village who works as an extra in movies. She was driving her 2006 Toyota on one side of the Cline Avenue median with stunts involving flying cars going on on the other side. During Wednesday’s shoot a metal object struck her Toyota.

“The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle,” said fellow extra Blaine Baker. “The cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman’s car and sliced through her skull, apparently.” Witnesses say Cedillo’s car continued moving for almost a mile before it came to a complete stop. According to sources, the kind of stunt being shot on Cline Avenue involved flipping cars and was similar to a scene shot in Chicago on another day when a pressurized cannon was used to launch a car attached by a steel cable. [No statement has been given from T3 production yet!]

I am having a difficult time even getting this out because I feel like Cedillo is one of my wonderful friends who I share a common bond with, and it’s that we share the same struggle of being an actor. I am talking about the risks that one has to take as an actor, whether it’s swimming outside in 45 degree weather, acting like it’s a warm Summer night to spending every penny on your career to get it going-and being forced to eat Ramen Noodles for dinner. I am not bitching about being an actor, I love it, but actors are crazy-they risk it all to make their dream happen. I know Cedillo was out there last night as an extra, with her nice Toyota car that she probably leases with her own money, she was on that set, really excited to be an extra on T3-hoping to get discovered and maybe get a bigger role, and then the big movie stunt goes wrong…

I can tell you from experience in working on Hollywood movies and TV, that accidents on set are not uncommon. I just saw a close call of an accident on the “Friends With Benefits” set when a 30 ft. cable snapped loose from the set car and cracked like a huge whip when the car took off. Luckily no innocent people got whipped with it!

Another example of a bad accident on set that I can tell you about, was when I was an extra on a huge movie that was shot in Downtown L.A. from 6 pm to 5 am in the morning. For the scene in the movie, they were filming a stunt scene and the whole street was blocked off from public traffic. The scene was that the 2 stars were driving a compact car, racing down the street trying to get away, and they make a sharp right turn, whilst stuntmen are hanging onto the car like a gang of zombies. The stunt driver took the right turn wrong, and smashed into the side of a city light pole! The stuntmen went flying off of the car before my eyes! One man was even partially smashed in between the car and light pole! Then, an ambulance came, took a couple stuntmen away, and they kept filming the movie!

I have another example of “extra” abuse that was done to me on a TV show. I was asked to be a body double on the show “The L Word”, and they were going to be shooting in Venice Beach for an episode. They usually film in Canada. It paid better than usual and they said I would be riding a scooter, playing the star’s body double, so I said yes.

It sounded like it would be a fun kind of day, but when I got there, I was already sorry I had signed on. There were a hundred-something extras and we had to sit in the blazing hot sun, as we waited for our part to happen. They snatched me and the other girl who was the other leading lady’s body double, and they put us through wardrobe and hair. Apparently makeup didn’t matter because the shot was going to be from a distance. They laced the crappiest weaves through our hair, gave me boots that were 1 size and a half too small, and a helmet that was too small for my head. My buddy who was a double was uncomfortable too. We thought, okay, now it’s time to ride our own scooters just down the street. Oh no, that wasn’t what happened at all! The van took us to the location, we waited on a curb for hours, and they didn’t even offer us chairs.

3 hours later, we started. The director made her get on the back of my scooter, and made me drive us up and over narrow bridges going full speed! We are both light-weight girls, but this scooter was heavy with us both on there, and getting up a narrow bridge was hard! Plus, I had to weave through a reflector post that was in the middle of the path, and do the same on the other end coming off of the bridge! Remember, I was not booked as a stunt double! I was booked as a body double.

At this point I knew they were trying to get us to do $1000-something stunts for a few $100. I was mad, and I even scraped my leg on the bridge! The crew was wretched and cruel because they put me and the other girl in an awkward, demanding position to follow through with this little scooter ride, that turned into a stunt!

Well, we got it done by night fall, and I was mad, tired and felt abused. I went to the production trailer, before I completely checked out, and showed my calculations of what they would have paid a stunt girl vs. paying me, and how I deserved more money! The producers thought I was ballzy as hell and I got my money that night! I stood up for what I believed in, and I got it! I had to get it for the other stunt girl too because she was too afraid to speak up-like most extras!

Most extras are too afraid to say what they feel on big Hollywood movie and TV sets, because they don’t want to be blacklisted or thrown off sets for good! It’s rare to get blacklisted for speaking the truth about a real issue, and let’s face it, you can’t let certain crews push you around! I’ve worked on a lot of sets that had a mean crew and mistreated the extras, but I’ve also worked on movies and TV shows that rocked!

I worked on a Farrelly Brothers movie, “The Heartbreak Kid”, as a body double/stand-in, and it was the BEST bigger movie set I’ve ever been on! The brothers were the coolest, along with the crew and actors! Waking up and going to Zuma Beach in Malibu everyday for work wasn’t so bad either! Not every set is bad, it’s just usually the ones where the person at the top doesn’t care-then it trickles down to everyone else below on the payroll. I know for a fact I’ve got that one figured out.

Lastly, I want to let everyone know who has seen my “Surviving in Hollywood” videos on YouTube (now private), that I haven’t changed my mind about “starting out as an extra”, I just don’t want you to make a career out of it, and I want you to only do it once in a while. The majority of extra work is not friendly, not clean, unhealthy for your mind and I encourage you to have a straight job for your main income. Do your auditions and classes still, but please don’t wind up doing stunts when you are not professionally trained, and please leave a movie or TV set if you do NOT feel comfortable. Getting a break from doing extra work is very rare-I’m not saying it can’t happen, but I want you to have a non-stressful time in Hollywood, or wherever the project is being shot, and go for the classes and auditions more than for the extra jobs! Also, film your own stuff and put it on YouTube!

I hope Gabriella Cedillo pulls through and has a full recovery, and I also hope that major movies and TV get a damn hold on these kind of problems, and start taking better care of these nice kids who are giving their time, and, their pretty faces and loving souls to be extras on their productions!

Inception Review: Deep Thinkers and Dreamers Only…

Leo Inception

4 1/2 Stars out of 5Note: NO spoilers through entire story!
I saw “Inception” last night at the IMAX, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio. I’m a big Leo fan, not just because he’s really really ridiculously good looking, but he’s a nice dude in real life and he’s an amazing actor. How can you not like the guy?! We all loved Titanic, The Aviator, The Departed, The Beach, Revolutionary Road and Shutter Island-just to name a few of his killer movies.

Inception also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine, Lukas Haas, and Pete Postlethwaite.

It was a very unique choice to cast all of these actors for the film, and they all turned out to be great on screen together and I’m glad that it wasn’t the same old formula, the casting director took a risky jump.

You are probably skeptical about heading to the theater since seeing the movie previews of Leonardo DiCaprio paired up with “Juno” star Ellen Page, but the chemistry does match and their roles flow together nicely in the movie (I’m being vague so I don’t give away any spoilers!).

I want to point out that actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays alongside Leo in the movie, finally got to play a grown-up role! I was skeptical of his acting in this movie because all the work I’ve always seen of him seems to be immature and kind of shallow (“500 Days of Summer” starring Zooey Deschanel). Sorry! I just think he’s been typecast for so many years as this desperate-loser-guy, and I was beginning to think he was a crappy actor. Inception changed my thinking, and now he has finally broken out of the young-dorky roles. I’m really excited for his career now! He’s looking up, and looking hotter than ever.

If you’re a vivid dreamer and if you’re into dream interpretation, this movie is for you!
I
nception was about this group of ‘dream worker’ people who get offered a challenge to break inside of a powerful man’s mind (the victim), and install a thought into his head to change the future. The group of people make a dream plan that the group is in compliance with, they all go to sleep at the same time, and show up in the same dream together and take on the challenge and obstacles as a team. In this challenge given, the group sets out to travel through 3 layers of this joint dream with their victim by their side, who is also simultaneously sedated/dreaming (against his will) in the same room with them in reality. The group’s goal is to get inside of the victim’s vault of secrets in his mind (inception), which can only be found in the 3rd level of the dream, which is stored in a ‘dream within a dream’-a very challenging place to get to with personal projections and obstacles created by the group’s imaginative sub-conscious (having to pee in a dream, an enemy appearing in your dream)! Leonardo (Cobb) has a disturbing lingering projection (memory) that makes the group’s challenge even harder!

Are you totally confused!? Hopefully it will make more sense when you see it!

It’s one of those movies you have to follow all the way through, and you CANNOT take a bathroom break for the whole 2 hours and 22 minutes because you’ll be so lost! The movie does not feel long though. Make sure you see it at the IMAX too! The best picture and sound!

Sesame Street’s The Count Makes a Comeback!

Count Von Count on Google!

Count Von Count on Google!

We are really pleased here at ThecounT.com to see that Google.com has decided to feature Sesame Street’s “Count Von Count” today on their site!!!

Count Von Count has been low-key for the last ten years, and it looks as if he is back in the spotlight! We’re not sure if he was too controversial being a vampire on a kids show, or if he just got tired of all the glitz n’ glam of the celeb lifestyle. Sesame Street started doing all their Muppet photo ops during the day, and obviously Count Von Count just couldn’t risk the sunlight. Maybe Sesame Street and Count Von Count made a deal for nighttime shoots FINALLY!? Whatever happened we are just pleased to see Count Von Count making a hot comeback gracing the cover of Google.com !!!

Happy 40th Anniversary to Sesame Street and thanks for finally getting Count involved again! Vampires are so hot right now!  Good move.
Love you Count Von Count!!!
Kisses!

Fact or Fiction? Did Michael Jackson Fake His Death? Evidence for You to Decide

** Disclaimer! I do not know if Michael Jackson faked his death. Just like you, I am wondering if it was possible after seeing this video of “Michael Jumping Out of Coroner’s Van!” I am a huge Michael Jackson fan, so I would never disrespect. This evidence is for you to figure out if it is real or there is more to the Michael Jackson death than we know. **

This new video that Count just posted of a ‘possible sighting’ of Michael Jackson jumping out of a coroner’s van after his so-called death, has blown my mind. This video, and the possibility of Michael Jackson faking his death, led me to so many questions. Was Propofol used to fake his death? Did Michael play “Romeo”?

First, you can tell this video is real. It does not look in any way ‘fake’. This video is supposed to be from the day of Michael’s death. Just before this moment, Michael was just helicoptered in onto USC grounds, then driven in the coroner’s van to the actual coroner’s building.

Let’s rewind the entire day of Michael’s death of June 25, 2009…

Michael was pronounced ‘dead’ 5 hours after his actual death in his Holmby Hills home. Dr. Conrad Murray, his personal doctor, was reported to have called in Michael’s death 5 hours after he Michael actually quit breathing. During that time, Dr. Conrad had his Las Vegas doctor’s office cleaned out.

Paramedics then came to Michael’s house and tried to resuscitate him, but he was already dead they said. “Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.” (Who was the UCLA cardiologist? Who were the ‘paramedics’ that arrived at Jackson’s home?)

Once at the UCLA hospital, the staff tried to “resuscitate” him but he was completely unresponsive. So, Michael died hours before the time he was at UCLA hospital. (Who was involved? How many paramedics were around? Did anyone notice any weird behavior at the hospital when Michael arrived? Was the area blocked off? Restricted? Only Michael could get away with everyone participating in keeping distance from the hot scene.)

Michael was then transported in a helicopter from UCLA, to USC in downtown Los Angeles. From the exit of Michael covered in a white sheet, he was rolled out on a gurney, then put into the coroner’s van, the van then drove to the actual L.A. coroner’s building on USC grounds.

I found this video below that shows the coroner’s van driving up to the building, just before it pulls inside of the gated garage. Watch at the last 20 seconds of this video and you can see a group of people (probably paparazzi) run up the ramp and attempt to follow the van to the garage. The video cuts there.

This local news video was filmed just before the unknown camera man (maybe from the group of people chasing the van?) recorded secret footage of Michael’s coroner van driving into the gated garage. [Now watch the first video at the top again to see the correlation] The coroner van gets through the gated garage and stops. You then see a big dark skinned man dressed in black, opens the back door of the van, and a person who resembles Michael Jackson, jumps out the back of the van, and the bodyguard and the possible still living Michael Jackson walk into the building. If you listen closely, you can hear the camera man breathing hard in the video as if he just got done chasing the van with the group of people up to the gated garage. Watch closely at the end of this video, you can barely see the group of people chasing the coroner van.

My point in correlating these two different videos, is to show you that this camera man who got secret footage of a possible ‘alive’ Michael jumping out of the van, just might be on to something big. Looks like evidence to me.

If Michael Jackson did fake his death, he would be the only person who could pull it off in every way. There have been stories of other big stars throughout history that possibly faked their death. Jim Morrison from “The Doors” is rumored to be alive still. Some say he faked his death, and is hiding out because he didn’t want the fame anymore.

Is it possible that Michael wanted to bail out on his “This Is It” tour? Was faking his death a way to get away from everyone and everything? Is there a chance he was unsure about doing his big comeback? Is a ‘fake death’ a better way to get away from it all, rather than living and dealing with everything? Did Jackson’s fake death rake in enough money and satisfy everyone that Jackson owed?

Were there certain people in on his “fake death?” Who did Michael trust enough to tell? Have you seen any reports that ANY of his family members ever saw Michael’s body after his death? Would he tell his mother Katherine? Would he tell Janet?

If we found out that Michael was still alive, would you be mad at him for faking his death? I thought about it, and I first thought “maybe” I would be mad. We had to go through so much pain and suffering, and then saying ‘okay’, we’ve accepted he’s gone. After the Los Angeles memorial, the months of tears and news, the Jackson family sorrow, the blaming of Dr. Conrad Murray possibly killing Michael…Did Dr. Conrad Murray give Michael a “Romeo and Juliet” anesthetic (Propofol) to fake out everyone into thinking he’s dead? Could it be?  It’s been a long ride, and we are still rolling through it.

So would I be mad if Michael faked his death? No. He gave us so much joy throughout our lives, I would be ‘okay’ if Michael were really alive and free, doesn’t he deserve it? “Leave Me Alone oh oh…”
