LIMA, OH. (THECOUNT) — Dustan Purdy, of Celina, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night shooting on the southside of Lima, Ohio.

Purdy, 25, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound at a home located at, 405 Orena Avenue, Lima, OH, just before 7 p.m.

Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Orena Avenue on Friday night. Upon arrival, officials discovered one male victim with obvious life-threatening gunshot injuries.

Purdy was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

One person was taken to the police station for questioning but as of this time no one is in custody and the LPD is still investigating the incident, reports HomeTownStations.

The investigation is ongoing.
