PICACHO PEAK, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Carly Mindy Cardenas, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been identified as the Arizona woman gone missing while traveling to meet her estranged husband in the Picacho Peak area of Arizona Friday morning.

Officials are looking for a Cardenas who was reported missing after she was supposed to meet her estranged husband in Tucson but she didn’t show up. He reported her missing on Friday morning.

According to Eloy Police Department, Cardenas contacted her husband via cellphone and told him she got off Interstate 10 and had driven into the desert area. She said she was near Picacho Peak and a “big black fence.”

Officials searched truck stops and the area but were unable to locate the missing woman.

She was driving a tan-colored 2016 Ford F-150 with Arizona license plate “BWL0509.”

Cardenas reportedly has ties to Sells, Arizona, as well, reports ABC15.

Police did not provide any further information on her or her disappearance.

According to Facebook, Cardenas is the mother to three children and is an EMT Sells Indian hospital. She attended Tohono O’odham Community College, Pima Community College and Apollo High School/
