SANDY, UT. (THECOUNT) — Stephen Keddington, of Murrah, Utah, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Sandy, Utah, Wednesday morning.

Keddington, 33, was operating a Honda Civic traveling west on 9000 South, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and veered into oncoming traffic near 900 E, & 9000 S, in Sandy, UT, on Wednesday.

Keddington struck a Mazda head on.

The 36-year-old male driver of the Mazda received minor injuries and was not transported, according to ABC4.

Keddington was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead on multiple blunt force injuries consistent with the violent crash.

Police are still investigating the crash and why the driver crossed the center line but they have not said if drugs or alcohol were factors, reports ABC4.
