PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Eric G. Estes of Oldsmar, Florida, has been identified as one of three victims in a head-on crash on Interstate 95 in Prince George County Wednesday afternoon.

Estes, 38, was traveling northbound on I-95 just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and struck an SUV traveling in the opposite direction head-on.

The driver of the SUV, 70-year-old Gary K. Lilly, and his wife, 70-year-old Elizabeth L. Lilly, were pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Estes also succumbed to his injuries at the scene, according to wtvr.

The crash shut down lanes on I-95 south near mile marker 38 for several hours.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
