NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC. (THECOUNT) — Alyssa Anne Dayvault has been identified as the South Carolina woman accused of killing two newborns, a girl and a boy, about one year apart, in November of 2017 and sometime last month.

Dayvault, whose age was not provided, is charged with four felonies, murder/ homicide by child abuse and graves/ destruction and desecration or removal of human remains in two separate cases, after giving birth to two babies and then allegedly killing them and discarding them in a home trash container, according to the North Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Dayvault reportedly admitted to giving birth to a baby girl in November 2017 and a baby boy earlier this month.

According to warrants, Dayvault said both children were born alive and in neither case she did not seek medical treatment or take any action to save her babies lives. source

On both occasions the warrants reveal the mother threw the baby’s bodies in the trash at her home and did not tell authorities.
