BOCA RATON, FL. (THECOUNT) — Asia McClave, of Lighthouse Point, Florida, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash in Boca Raton, Florida, Monday night.

McClave, 20, was named as the pedestrian killed by a hit-and-run vehicle while attempting to cross the roadway in the 700 block of West Glades Road, in Boca Raton Monday night around 7:30 p.m., according to officials.

Police say they are on the lookout for a silver or gray possible Hyundai vehicle with front end damage and missing a side mirror.

The vehicle was last seen speeding away from the scene of the deadly collision.

McClave was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent collision.

Authorities are looking for the vehicle involved which they say could be a Hyundai. Police say the car, which is missing a side mirror and possibly has front-end damage, left the scene traveling east at a high rate of speed. source
