NASHVILLE. TN. (THECOUNT) — Kid Rock’s profane comments on live TV have gotten him booted from leading the Nashville Christmas Parade.

In a statement Friday, parade organizers Piedmont Natural Gas, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and Tennessee Holiday Productions said they have invited James Shaw Jr., saying the grand marshal in Saturday’s parade should personify the spirit of the Nashville community.

Instead, the parade has invited the man hailed as a community hero for wrangling a gun away from the shooter during a deadly Nashville Waffle House shooting in April. source

Fox & Friends host, Steve Doocy visited with musician, Kid Rock, at the opening of his new Nashville restaurant, “Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk and Rock n’ Roll Steakhouse” on Friday.

Robert Ritchie showed off the $20 million four-story entertainment venue and steakhouse venue which boasts a bar and stage on every floor, including a rooftop deck.

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): How is the president doing?

KID ROCK (MUSICIAN): I think the president’s doing a great job with his policies. I wish, you know, I heard you earlier in a bumper asking people, you know, what was their biggest concern and mine would be just, you know, the division in the country right now, that it’s so hard for people just to get past that we can disagree and still be cordial with one another. You know, and just talk about things without going for each other’s throats and protesting everything and God forbid you say something a little bit wrong, you’re racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, this, that, and the other. People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct. And I would say, you know, love everybody. Except, I’d say screw that Joy Behar bitch. Everybody but that.

DOOCY: No, no, no, you can’t — you cannot say that.

ROCK: I mean lady.

DOOCY: We apologize for that.

Meanwhile back in the studio..

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): I know where I’m going in Nashville, I’m going right there. That place looks fantastic!

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): Kid Rock and Steve Doocy.

ED HENRY (GUEST CO-HOST): It’s a party at 7:36 in the morning there, local time.

KILMEADE: I could see those two on Fox Nation everyday.
