FAIRFIELD, CA. (THECOUNT) — Carly Elizabeth Hutchings, of Vacaville, CA, has been identified as the young woman killed after ejected from a BMW during a crash in Fairfield, CA, Tuesday.

Hutchings, 19, was killed late Tuesday afternoon in a crash that occurred on Blue Mountain Dr, near Lyon Rd, in Fairfield, CA.

The victim was a passenger in a BMW vehicle, when for unknown reasons, the driver, 19-year-old, Daniel Sanchez-poore, crossed centerlines and struck a Hyundai Elantra head-on.

Hutchings was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the ejection.

Carly Hutchings was a passenger in a silver BMW 328i that was traveling west on Lyon Road, just west of Blue Mountain Road, at about 4:30 p.m. when it drove into the eastbound lane for an unknown reason, according to a California Highway Patrol traffic report. The BMW moved into the path of an eastbound Hyundai Elantra, which hit the passenger side of the BMW. Sanchez-poore, also of Vacaville, and the Elantra’s driver, Sonya Sanchez, 29, of Vacaville, each had what the CHP described as major injuries and were taken to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment.
