Upon arrival, officers located a female victim who claimed she was drunk when Ontiveros offered to escort her to a room and then proceeded to sexually assault her.

The woman stated that she had been drinking with others in another hotel room when she threw up. That’s when Ontiveros offered to take her back to her room to go to sleep. The woman and Ontiveros made it to her hotel room where she laid down in bed. It’s then that the woman told police that Ontiveros told her that “if she did not wake up he was going to kiss her.” According to the affidavit, Ontiveros then proceeded to remove the woman’s clothes and sexually assaulted her before she was able to leave the room. source

The woman exited the hotel room and went to the next door room where she frantically begged for entry. The man inside the room opened the door to find the unclothed woman saying that Ontiveros had just assaulted her in an adjacent room.

Police then located Ontiveros who was placed into custody and transported to the Alpine Police Department.

Alpine police confirmed that Ontiveros is a member of the National Guard.

The National Guard was contacted but has not yet commented on the incident.
