COLUMBUS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Police are crediting a quick-thinking bank teller in the capture of an Ohio man suspected of attempting to rob Columbus financial institution, Huntington Bank.
Authorities say an unidentified 51-year-old man walked into a Huntington Bank branch in Columbus on June 4 and gave the teller a note demanding money saying he was armed.

The teller gave the man a small stack of cash, but then he demanded more money and suggested she help him pilfer the electronic cash recycle machine located nearby in the bank’s lobby.
The teller complied but informed the man that the machine’s use required a driver’s license, so the man handed over his own drivers license.
The license led police directly to the stupid suspect who was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and threatening with a deadly weapon in mid-June. source
