Police Dog Visits Michigan High School For Student Training Session – Sniffs Out Real Drugs

The Pinconning Police Department is advising Michigan students to “not be foolish,” after conducting a training mission at a local high school and erroneously locating drugs. It was not made clear to whom the drugs belonged.

During the “K9 training exercise” being conducted at a local high school by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with Grand Blanc City Police Department, a police dog began signaling offers to the presence of drugs.

After a rash of parent inquiries, a tight-lipped Pinconning Police Department attempted to clarify the issue on Facebook while extending a future warning to students (and presumably teachers alike,) “[Do] not bring illegal items into our school.” “You will never know when they [K9 Officer] happen to stop by!,” authorities concluded the post.

The PPD assisted at the Pinconning High School yesterday during a K-9 Training exercise.

We are not going to give details into what the K-9 units may or may not have discovered, but we will give a piece of sound advice to those foolish enough to bring illegal items into our school. Don’t do it, the K-9 is very proficient and you will never know when they happen to stop by!”
