Mugshot: Charleston Southern Pitcher ‘Nik Constantakos’ Arrested “First-Degree Criminal Sexual Assault” Say SC Cops

Nik Constantakos, a sophomore Charleston Southern University baseball player, has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual assault.

Constantakos was arrested and charged in the forcible sexual assault of an unidentified female while at his off-campus apartment in early March.

The alleged rape occurred in the early morning hours of March 6 when Constantakos and the victim were out drinking with friends when Constatakos got drunk, according to the affidavit. He walked the victim back to his apartment. Once inside, Constantakos locked the door and immediately began kissing her, the affidavit stated. The victim then stated that he attacked her neck before pulling her into the bedroom where the victim stated he held her down and raped her, according to the affidavit. source

A bond court judge gave Constantakos a PR bond of $50,000, which means he won’t have to pay any money to get out of jail.

The pitcher last started a game for the team on March 16. He was 2-3 for the season with a 4.88 ERA in 24 innings pitched.
