Jones took to social media shortly before being apprehended saying, stealing is “what I do.” She went on to say she has been bombarded by phone calls from people who recognized her. Commenting that she did not commit murder, she asked them to leave her alone and said she intends to surrender to police.

“I hustle that’s what I do. Ain’t nobody gone (sic) give me s—,” the Wednesday social media post said.

Jones has nine prior arrests for shoplifting in Bossier City in the past nine years, in additional to other arrests including disturbing the peace, theft, battery and receiving stolen goods, police and court records show. source

The latest shoplifting arrest occurred at a supermarket in Shreveport in January and involved theft of $509 worth of meat and baby formula that were placed in a purse and jacket. That case is being prosecuted as a felony in Caddo District Court.
