Via Mugshots.com: Wyndham Lathem is wanted by police in Cook County, Illinois for First-Degree Murder.  Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the fugitive professor.

Lathem is a microbiology professor at Northwestern University.  A warrant for his arrest for First-Degree Murder has been issued. Cook County Judge Sandra Ramos issued no-bail warrants, alleging that Lathem and his accomplice “without lawful justification and with the intent to kill” stabbed the victim to death.

Lathem and a 56-year old senior treasury assistant, Andrew Warren, at the University of Oxford in England are accused of fatally stabbing 26-year old Trenton H. James Cornell-Duranleau.  They pair reportedly stabbed the victim “multiple times” in Lathem’s 10th floor apartment at the Grand Plaza located at 540 N. State Street on July 27, 2017.  The victim was found stabbed to death at approximately 8:30 that evening.

Authorities warn that he should be Considered Armed and Dangerous.  Do not attempt to capture him if spotted.  If you spot him or have any information about Wyndham Lathem or his whereabouts, you are urged to call the Chicago Police Department at 312-746-6000 or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
