Friend, Sarah Marie, sent out her condolences on Facebook:

“Lindsey Royalty You were more to me than a friend, you were my sister. We met through you sister, you didn’t like me at first because I was her friend. The first time you cut my hair ,you hacked it on purpose. It didn’t take long though and we were inseparable. You were there when dad had his accident, it was you by my side when I was scared to death when I first started having MS symptoms, we were so inseparable kids at school said we were more than just “friends”. It was with you when I first met Madisuns dad. I also meet the future love of my life at your house. We were so close both of our daughters share their first two initials of their names and the middle name Grace. Your family became mine and vice versa. I remember watching Disney movies on repeat with Shelby at your mom’s house. We got into so many shenanigans together. From rally racing, getting caught racing on your dad’s police scanner, walking the “runway” at a fashion show, getting my old thunderbird stuck between a light pole and a guardrail. That summer I spent in Louisville and you made fun of me because I wouldn’t drink bud light like everyone else because I preferred whiskey and I finally broke down and drank it with you that summer. I’ve only drank maybe 2 whole beers since that summer. I hate that we grew apart like we did. We could still call each other no matter how long it had last been since we spoke or saw each other and the call be answered and talk like we spent no time apart. You called me a couple weeks ago and told me how good you were doing. We made plans to get together, unfortunately it didn’t happen. I still can’t believe it’s true. God made us best friends, because nobody on Earth could handle us as sister’s.
