Joshua Shintani, the Shallow Hal actor who played his ukelele alongside Jack Black and Gwyneth Paltrow, passed away on Wednesday. He was 32.
After his role in the popular Farrelly Brothers movie, Shintani became a celebrity in his home state of Hawaii.

The man who was assaulted by Jahlil Okafor says the NBA star is not telling the truth about being heckled. The unnamed victim claims Okafor only got violent after he was rejected by two women on a street in Boston.
Boston officials who are “actively investigating the incident” say the male victim filed a police report Friday morning, indicating Okafor brutally hit him in the face, causing a laceration above his eye that required stitches.

A gunman is on the loose after police say an active shooter was reported near a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs police officers are responding to the scene and scanner traffic indicated at least one patient was down at an adjacent building. At least four are reported injured.

Legendary athlete and sportscaster, Frank Gifford‘s brain has been donated to a study that focuses on CTE, a brain disorder thought to be as a result of multiple concussions.
Kathy Lee Gifford says her late Hall of Fame husband suffered from a traumatic brain injury most likely caused during his NFL career. Gifford died in August at the age of 84.
