If you see any less of Donald Trump in the coming days, it’s won’t be because the Republican presidential front-runner is letting his foot off the gas, it because he’s been stricken with a mandatory case of jury duty.

Trump’s reps say their boss will be taking a break from the campaign trail on Monday to appear for jury duty in New York City. Common sense tells us Trump is showing up only for the selection phase of the dreaded task, unless it’s one of the new fangled single day jury trials.

It’s not the first time Trump’s been summonsed for jury duty, he ignored five jury letters since 2006. A judge fined the billionaire $250. Ouch.

Trump said he’s ‘looking forward to appearing.’ Talk about being diplomatic.
