FIVE In Indiana Being Monitored EBOLA

Under guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the ISDH said it will be monitoring anyone who travels to Indiana from Liberia, Sierra Leone or Guinea. So far, two people who were monitored showed no symptoms and are no longer being monitored. Five other people are being monitored now. Those people must take their temperature twice per day and report it to the ISDH. They also must immediately notify the local health department if they exhibit any Ebola symptoms. h/t wishtv

The state health commissioner said the monitoring was being done “out of an abundance of caution.”

ISDH did not name the counties where the travelers were located.
