Man Arrested Real $50 Bill black light. A Tennessee man was arrested and thrown behind bars after he tried to pay for his goods with a counterfeit $50 bill, there’s just one little problem, his fifty was REAL!
Turns out Lorenzo Gaspar was trying to pay for his items at a convenience store when cop were called about a man trying to pass a counterfeit $50 bill, police arrived and arrested the dude, but they were mistaken!

The fifty turned out to simply be an older note which can appear fake to black light bill testers.. But police did not confirm this until the man had already been arrested and put in jail.
“DURRRRRR” comes to mind..
In an attempt to save a little face, officer Brock Horner of the Shelbyville police department had this to say of the debacle,
“The front side of the bill was off center and it didn’t feel like a normal bill, it did look to be counterfeit.”
Great that explains everything! Including why Mr. Gaspar’s backside is swollen and hurting after his stay in the slammer!
