Celine Dion Cancels Week of Vegas Shows

Celine Dion says that she is not well enough to do her Vegas singing gigs for a week.

Dion’s rep made a statement about her sickness saying, “Celine is battling a virus that has caused inflammation of her vocal chords. She is currently receiving treatment for this condition, and has been instructed to rest. Celine is very upset about disappointing her fans, and wants to apologize for inconveniencing them.”
Then Celine added, “I feel terrible about not being able to do these shows. I feel so bad for the fans. I don’t like to let people down….it’s the thing that bothers me more than anything. I really hope everyone understands how sorry I am.”
She is expected to return back to her shows on March 3 at Caesar’s Palace.

Poor, poor thing, who is so arrogant that she feels sorry for the people who were foolish enough to pay for tickets.
Last year we were in China, Everywhere we went we were told by the local guides that, while she was in China getting enormous fees, Dionne wanted to go shopping.- for illegal counterfeit European products.
We got the impression that the Chinese had concluded the Canadians are a cheesy, tacky lot.
