Hostess Should Revamp Their Recipes

America’s favorite dessert maker, Hostess, who makes Twinkies and Ho-Hos, is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Hostess is $860 million in debt, and they just aren’t making enough profit on sales to afford the ingredients for their desserts.
Lard, Crisco, sugar- what ever the heck is in those desserts, has become to expensive for Hostess to afford, which is why I think they should re-think their ingredients not only because of price, but for health reasons.
If Hostess decided to revamp their company, and make their desserts with healthier ingredients, I would purchase their desserts more often. We all know that their ingredients aren’t good for you (I dare you to look at the ingredients labels!), so maybe that’s why people have been neglecting the brand.

Sure that guilty pleasure flavor is great, but maybe they should limit the old school desserts, and come out with a new healthier line of desserts that can’t keep in a bomb shelter.
