Whitney Houston’s voice may have failed her on “Good Morning America” this week, but her new album is expected to soar to No. 1.
This week’s performance came with a little hullabaloo as Houston’s voice gave out, Houston blamed the outage on, of all people, Oprah. “I’m sorry. I did ‘Oprah.’ I’ve been talking so long … I talked so much, my voice, I shouldn’t be talking, I should be singing,” Said Houston, who made excuses for her less than stellar croon.
Industry know-it-alls are predicting Houston’s first album in seven years “I Look To You” — will easily hop in to the No. 1 position according to the Billboard 200 chart.
