Holy Cow, Christian Bale is Really Thin

Some people give Christian Bale a hard time but everyone’s got to admit that the man takes his profession seriously.  Just take a glimpse of this photo.  This is Bale just days ago.  Why so thin?  Christian’s playing a professional boxer turned drug addict in his new film, The Fighter.  Yeah, I’d say he looks like a drug addict.

Bale once lost an amazing 60-some pounds for his movie The Machinist.  The movie ended up being brilliant so we can hope this one will be as good.  The Fighter is directed by David O. Russell, who is known for his short temper and on-set meltdowns.  We all know that Christian had his own meltdown last year on the set of Terminator Salvation.  If I was the director of photography for this film, I would be extra, extra careful.

Christian is my fave actor, but I really dislike how the himeys trick him into wrecking his beautiful body. He was such a stud in American Psycho. I even use him as a template, which I have since surpassed =D It’s tragic someone athletic like that would wreck their own bod 4 work. NOTHING is more important than the condition of your flesh. That is job #1, not some ‘film role’. Take a regular job if that’s your only alternative.
