When I was listening to some songs that my brother recently put on my computer, I heard “Chillin’” and thought it was an MIA song featuring someone else, then I saw it said Lady Gaga. I thought it was some sort of mess up. It really sounds like MIA…

I love me some Lady Gaga… But there been times she slightly “impersonates” other artist’s vocals. For example on her hit single,”Poker Face”, she sounds like a mix between Fergie (on the verses: See BEP’s My humps vs. Poker Face for reference) and Christina Aguilera’s explosive vocals (on the hook)… Sorry to say.

Either he is trying to use the MIA track without paying for the sample, or he is using Gaga to get some chart exposure whilst ripping off MIA, either way its pretty sad, or he couldn’t get MIA. The track even references MIA and her track..

Yeah Lady Gaga does sound like MIA complete with fake Indian accent. I think she’s just really easily influenced.
