Christina Aguilera going into acting? Yes, she is going into acting! For her very first and new role, she will be using her singing and dancing skills, which fit her part in the upcoming film ‘Burlesque‘, written and directed by Steven Antin. Don’t worry, you have plenty of time to mentally prepare yourself for her big acting debut. Burlesque is not going to debut until 2011. You just might get lucky, maybe you’ll be spared and the world will end a little early (2012 ha ha joke). I truly am looking forward to seeing her on the big screen. Her features are so desirable, especially on camera.
Starring Christina, the contemporary musical will be about ‘an ambitious smalltown girl with a big voice who finds love, family and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club’.
Burlesque is in ‘pre-production’. Rest of cast and crew are to be determined.
I’m into it. I think it’s time for C to change it up. Wonder if ‘burlesque queen’ Dita Von Teese will make an appearance? Looking forward to it!
