Hollywood must remake everything! They are even touching ‘The Karate Kid’ which stars Jackie Chan and Will Smith’s son Jayden.
Ok, so Zac Efron, who was born to star in this Footloose remake, ended up rejecting the lead role as ‘Ren McCormack’, who was originally played by Kevin Bacon. Bacon me crazyyy! The role is now open…
Who would be closest looking to Zac Efron? Who can sing and dance like Zac? Who is charming and box office worthy like Zac?
Chase Crawford! He’s got the look! But can he bring it like Zac? Does he sing and dance well? Is he charming and sexy?
Another possible cast member for this Footloose remake is ‘Heroes’ star Hayden Panettiere. E! News reported that Hayden recently auditioned for a part in the film. She had to sing in the first audition. Her second audition will be dancing and a script reading with Chase Crawford.
