Survivor winner, Richard Hatch was denied a request to serve out his probation in Argentina. Hatch is set to be released from prison in a month after serving over four years for not paying taxes on the $1 million he won on the popular TV reality show “Survivor”.

Hatch requested he be allowed to leave the US to go live in Argentina with extended family who are Argentine nationals and not allowed to travel to the US, a Federal judge rejected his request.

This story always makes me sick. It’s so unfair to put someone in prison over ‘taxes!’ He was a $1 million dollar winner on a tv show-then goes to prison for not paying TAXES!? They act like he murdered somebody. What a dirty system. Now, these f**** are trying to get race car driver/dancing with the stars celeb Helio Castroneves for 6 years in jail for not paying his taxes! (They are also trying to charge him for hiding his money in a foreign bank and for creating a business to hide the large income, so if he’s guilty than that would be a problemo) I have worked with him and he is such a nice man! Isn’t jail for psycho killers?
About the show ‘Survivor,’ you’d think the network would step in and at least make themselves look good and help Richard Hatch stay out of the clink!
I think the man behind the curtain is trying to ’set examples’ out of these celebs to show people to ‘NOT MESS WITH THE TAX MAN!’ I think these instances make people dislike the tax man even more…
