Perez proclaimed it was amazing…um…what pills did you take Perez?
She tried to do something very different in the beginning and it was only 50% OK…nothing amazing. I liked how she sang pretty well in a few spots.
She then got up and did Poker face at an odd pace and a lower pitch than usual. She was totally OFF and sounded terrible- regardless of if that was on purpose or not.
Kudos on the dry ice smoke and back up dancers…that was the only good thing. BLAH! She could have really rocked this.
Lady gaga needs to really work on her LIVE performances. I’ve only seen one decent performance. She’s a bit like Katy Perry in that way.
You know what this reminded me of? Cirque de Soleil on methadone.

Not that this blog matters, but are you aware that she has had a virus and has been forced to cancel a bunch of live shows? She’s sick and yes you can tell but seriously when is the last time you saw an amazing performer sing AND dance without playback? Give the girl her due…
I had the pleasure of covering Lady Gaga at the Interscope, Grammys after party and I am here to tell you she was fantastic. She really put it all out there. After Carrie wrote this article I was like “What!?! NO WAY!” Then I remembered I had American Idol on DVR. Usually I watch AI when I can but I rushed right to my TV to watch this one. I must say Carrie is on the money again, Lady Gaga was not very good on this night, and what a shame to flop on a show as huge as AI. Hearing that she was sick does explain a lot, however, it is what it is and this is show biz.
PS, I’m sure the comment about this blog ‘not mattering’ was said in anger, we must mean something if you are reading us. Thank you for your comments and please feel free to leave your opinion anytime as we welcome them.

she reminds me of britney spears, only britney did much better on her “gimme more” performance than this, and im not even a fan of britney, i love lady gaga and am a HUGE fan of her, but in this situation, britney spears makes lady gaga look horrible.

i don’t think, but i know that it was a wonderful performance. absolutely incredible. she is way ahead of her time, and it’s a bummer if you didn’t like it, because let me f-ing tell you…. that is where music is headed.

That AI stage is faulty. It is crap. Lots of technical mistakes with the mic, reverb, camera, timing, the list goes on. I saw her before and I was up front where I could grab her thigh. She was hot in every way. Killer performance. AI is nerve racking and sketchy. Great publicity to do the show though…

To my beautiful, talented, luminous fans,
I am so terribly sad about the postponed performances. I wanted to tell you all, that although many assume it’s because of Idol, the truth is I have had a high fever and some crazy virus for days, and I am still sick. We are very pleased with how Idol went, but after weeks of not a day off my schedule, my team and doctor felt it imperative that I sleep for a few days.
My friends surprised me with a birthday cake and pinata post show at a friends art studio last night, my spirits are already higher, and I am now straight back to bed to sleep for the next couple days.
But, I could barely sleep in this morning thinking about all of you. And while some I’m sure are inventing curse words for me, the shows have now been moved to bigger venues. for more dancing, more sweating, and more of my props to fit on stage. your support means everything to me, and I am truly very sorry if I’ve upset anyone. And to my gay fans, please know that I’m always thinking about you, and how I can give you and every tour date the absolute best performance of my life. I will see you all for Dinah Shore this weekend and the White Party next week! I love you more than words or music can express. We will announce the new dates for DC and Richmond within the next 24hrs.

Lady GaGa is totally awesome!!!! She is da BOMB!!! EEEEKKK!!! she 4got 2 shave her armpits properly.
The performance was horrible! Did she learn to play the piano version 5 min before she went on the stage? And she was out of breath after like 2min of singing and lame dancing. If she has a virus its probably chlamydia and gonorrhea in the back of her throat from sucking off the record label producers. That would be the only way to explain how such a bad artist achieves such a level of fame. She needs to take some penicillin and time off.
I was really looking forward to Lady GaGa performance on American Idol and She (Lady GaGa) was horrible! Her singing and dancing is a shame to all that can sing and dance. I agree with Jayt, Lady GaGa was out of breath within a few dance step and where did she learn how to play the piano? Lady GaGa should had just stood there and sang the song like she was in a sound booth, then the performance would have turned out better! SHOW YOUR TALENT! NOT WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW OR NEVER DONE BEFORE! People will respond better and love you not hate you!

Almost all of the music today sucks. It’s because most of you are shallow, superficial twats. You have no depth. You understand nothing about the language of music, just as you lack any understanding of your own language. Lady Gag-Me’s music is stupid, and has no depth. It’s simply more vile, stupid BS with a “nice body” because stupid people will always buy into that.
I agree with A REAL ARTIST. Her music is boring, and if you people want to see a trashy, slutty performance, why don’t you just go out to a strip club? Would be cheaper and you would see more boobs.
