Did anyone watch The Jimmy Kimmel show last night?

If you stuck around to the end, you had to have seen the unforgettable Scott Weiland “solo” performance. Unforgettably !!!AWFUL!!!

scottweiland420 300x235 Baby Come Back! Scott Weiland Goes SOLOScott Weiland and his “new” band graced the Jimmy Kimmel stage for a crappy taste of Weiland’s new SOLO album entitled “Happy in Galoshes.” We were in shock. His voice was worse than we’ve ever heard him through the years. He kept his eyes closed the entire time and didn’t make eye contact. We’re a huge fan, but his performance on Kimmel last night was the worst ever. What happened to Stone Temple Pilots getting back together? What happened to his band Velvet Revolver? This double disc album of 19 tracks has surprisingly been in the works for 10 years.

“Whenever he had some time, he would come in and we’d either write a song or record a song or something,” says Doug Grean, Weiland’s longtime friend and musical collaborator. “Every time he got fed up with the big rock machine, the corporate machine, he would come in and do a song. Every time he got kicked out of his house by his wife, he would come in and do a  song.”

What do you think about Scott going solo and ditching STP and Velvet Revolver?

I had no I dea that was scott weiland, I flipped through in the middle of the song. I could not believe that band was allowed airtime. That was amateur beyond amateur.
