You hear this type of story every once in a while from musicians such as Canadian pop snob Avril Lavigne who ripped off “Hey Mickey You’re So Fine” to lesbian has been K.D. Lang suing the Rolling Stones for borrowing the hook from “Constant Cravings”.

Well here we go again! And this time it puts all-star guitarist Joe Satriani against pop machine hit makers ‘Coldplay’. It seems Joe feels that his song “If I Could Fly”, sounds almost identical to Coldplay’s smash “Viva La Vida”. But don’t take Joe’s word for it, listen for yourself! Over 5 months before Joe visited his lawyer, a member of the popular video sharing website, www.Youtube.com posted a video that put the two tracks side by side and even mashed them up making for a VERY compelling argument.

Since the Youtube evidence came out, the video has garnered over 1,000,000 hits. Joe may have the power of the people behind him, and if he has any trouble convincing a judge of his case, maybe he can bust out the Youtube video as evidence.
